No bill surprises with online booking service

VAUXHALL has launched a new online system for booking servicing at its chain of Vauxhall MasterFit dealers.
Service appointments can be booked at 48 hours' notice via a ‘Book a Service’ link from the main www.vauxhall.co.uk website.
The system provides guaranteed fixed prices in advance for work such as repairs, scheduled servicing and MoT tests, so greatly reducing the chances of nasty surprises when the customer is presented with the final bill.
Vauxhall Masterfit dealers also operate a Price Match Promise, under which it undertakes to match other local garages for servicing and repair work.
Vauxhall says that fixed price servicing is available from £99 including parts, labour and VAT.
Charles Hurst is among the Northern Ireland dealers involved in the service.
Keith Hyde, retail operator at Charles Hurst, said: “With many people preferring to get things done outside of working hours, it makes perfect sense to have an online system that allows people to fit their car maintenance in when it suits them.”
Keith added that service and repair work can be booked in at Charles Hurst online via the Book a Service section found at www.vauxhall.co.uk.
